Gender pay gap 2023
We continue to maintain rigorous processes to review and ensure that we pay our people fairly for the work they do. Please note that like most law firms, we do not include equity partners in our gender pay gap data.
Hourly gender pay gap 2023
Our April 2023 gender pay gap figures continue to demonstrate improvements since our initial report in 2017. Our hourly gender pay gap (mean) has reduced from 35.9% to 19.3%. Our hourly gender gap (median) has also reduced significantly from 43.34% to 21.96%. We are pleased that this is the lowest it has been since we started reporting. We are also pleased to note the gender pay gap in our business services group, which includes all people in non-fee earning roles, is very positive, consistently achieving under 10% for the last three years.

Bonus gender pay gap 2023
In 2022, all eligible employees received a profit share bonus. This was calculated by a percentage of salary earned in that financial year (before tax or salary sacrifice schemes). Profit share earnings exclude any parental leave payments.
Our people also have the opportunity to receive a discretionary bonus based on exceptional performance.
